The only thing more painful then watching this movie would be open heart surgery without anesthetic. The lame and obvious plot about a so called alien invasion is predictably stupid, but instead of a major city the invaders pick nowhereville to start conquering the planet. I half expected to see Courage The Cowardly Dog and the Banks' family to show up.

I'd like to call the characters in this movie one-dimensional stereotypes, I'd like to say that. but I can't, I'm afraid that would be giving them too much depth!

Charles Napier was the only real star and why he choose this crap factory is beyond me. The annoying characters, the lame CGI effects all make this movie one big crashing failure. Polymorth, Galaxy of Dinosaurs, is it me or was 1996 the year of the crap. Except for some big budget excepts most of the low-budget movies that year sucked on ice and ALIEN SPECIES is no exception and we give this loser from the stars THE BLACK HOLE.
